Do you have aspirations to create a video game? Then you’ll want to participate in The Cuse Video Game Jam this Friday Jan. 31st, 6PM-12AM, and continues Saturday Feb. 1st, 8AM-6PM at ShareCuse in Syracuse, NY.
Friday 1/31 starts off with snacks and a kick off video for the Global Game Jam. Folks can share what types of video or board game experience they have and pitch ideas for what type of game they want to make. Teams will form in order to make pitch idea become a reality!
At 10PM, the theme for Global Game Jam 2020 will be revealed and teams can further develop and work on their projects.
At 8 AM on Saturday, the ShareCuse venue opens again and folks can continue to hack with teams.
Some snacks will be provided and there are restaurants and coffeeshops in the downtown area for your dining needs. Also, feel free to bring your own food and drinks.
At 6PM hacking ends and projects will be shown for play testing, demoing, and feedback.
Game creators are encouraged to stay for the entire event, but are welcome to come for part or all! Syracuse has an awesome tradition of Hackathon’s and building events, and we are excited to have an event focused specifically on game development!
